We are seeking a talented individual to lead and coordinate the provision of planning advice for major regeneration projects and programmes within the Joint Growth Unit – the driving force behind Chesterfield's economic expansion.
Your key responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Taking the helm in guiding major regeneration projects and programme, ensuring they align with Chesterfield’s economic growth objectives.
Strategic Planning: Spearhead the achievement of planning permissions, navigating projects seamlessly from concept to successful delivery. Maximize opportunities through strategic partnerships and external funding, contributing to sustainable, positive economic outcomes for our vibrant, local economy.
Financial Management: Manage substantial project budgets with precision and expertise. Take charge of procurement processes with projects, ensuring financial integrity throughout.
Innovative Development: Collaborate with economic development and planning teams, as well as the Service Director, Economic Growth, to identify, develop, and pursue new regeneration opportunities. Be a driving force behind Chesterfield's continuous growth.
What we are looking for:
Proven experience in leading and co-ordinating planning advice for major regeneration projects along with demonstrated ability in managing substantial project budgets and procurement processes. A team player with the ability to work seamlessly with diverse stakeholders, fostering partnerships for success and the capacity to identify, develop and pursue innovative regeneration opportunities that contribute to economic growth.
