We are pleased to be supporting our client, a worldwide leader in the construction industry, in their search to secure an experienced Project Manager to manage the delivery of structure works on a large-scale HS2 site in Birmingham.
You will join a Tier 1 leading civil & infrastructure specialist with 70 years’ experience, focused on planning, developing and executing some of the largest and most reputable infrastructure projects in the UK.
As Project Manager, you will manage specific packages of the substructure and structure works including the planning, design validation and procurement, to meet the construction programme deadline to time and within budget.
The candidate:
- Experience in similar projects: at least mid-size (£150m), either railway or singular buildings or complex structures (such as bridges, viaducts, RC structures).
- Demonstrate significant experience of complex RC structures and station/transport interchange infrastructure build and employment in mid-management roles on projects of similar scope and scale, within the construction industry.
- Proven track record of delivering projects to time and budget, together with an exemplary safety, quality and sustainability record.
- Previous experience of operating for major infrastructure clients typically, NR and other UK or International organisations.
- Experience of managing interfaces with other contractors and Network Rail projects

- SMSTS
Desired:
- Degree educated or HNC / HND alongside significant level of experience
- Chartered status
