What you'll need to succeed
Between 5-10 years' experience in the field of project/programme management.
HNC/HND qualified in an engineering/technical subject
Delivered projects in the following project phases: Studies, Concept design, Preliminary design, Detailed design, Manufacturing/Construction/Test, and Commissioning. Managed projects for multiple clients. Managed projects with medium complexity schedules. Able to lead medium complexity contract negotiations e.g. NEC3. Carried out scope management and change control on medium size / complexity projects or groups of projects. Resource management on medium size / complexity projects or groups of projects. Earned value management on medium size / complexity projects or groups of projects. Risk, opportunity, and issue management on medium size / complexity projects or groups of projects. Track record of delivering medium complexity / risk projects in a regulated environment e.g., Managed resource typically a target price type arrangement, limited penalties, known client but unknown project team, where they own some of the risk (i.e. design 'fit for purpose'), minimal client reporting, CEMAR controlled, medium duration, some stakeholder management, higher potential regulatory issues, some level of safety related design, some risk of reputational damage, potential risk to the environment, some security risk
