We are currently supporting a FTSE listed PLC on a search for a Project Manager on a Part Time basis to support the delivery of a major Digital Transformation.
This is a part time role, expectation is working 2.5-3 days per week.
Job Summary: As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of various projects within our organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to closure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of projects from inception to completion, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against milestones and goals.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources to ensure alignment with project objectives and priorities.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, and proactively address challenges to keep projects on track.
- Conduct regular project meetings, provide direction and guidance to team members, and facilitate decision-making processes.
- Manage project budgets, expenses, and resource allocations, and ensure adherence to financial guidelines and constraints.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, escalate issues as needed, and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions and delays.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promote accountability and ownership, and recognize and reward team achievements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and standards, and uphold best practices in project management methodologies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, seek opportunities to optimize processes and workflows, and contribute to organizational growth and development.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in [relevant field]; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a minimum of [X] years managing complex projects in [industry/sector].
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, such as Agile, Waterfall, and PMBOK.
