Project Manager
Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams to successfully and profitably deliver allocated projects within the contracted timescales, scope of work and budgets.
- Work with client(s) to agree and deliver project implementation plans, reporting schedules
and budgets forecasts. - Coordinate with internal IN2 stakeholders and supporting departments to ensure IN2
contracted deliverables are made on time, on budget and to the required quality. - Provide regular project updates to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues via the Project RAID log.
- Oversee periodical reviews to ensure project remains conflict and gender sensitive.
- Allocate and approve project resources (people, budget, equipment) as required.
- Network with client(s) to identify extensions or expansion of current contract/project or
new opportunities. - Act as Line or Operational Manager for more junior staff members as required.
- Be prepared to deputise for senior Programme Department staff when requested.
- Actively seek out new business opportunities and be prepared to support IN2’s Business
Development team when requested. - Ensure compliance with IN2 cyber and physical security protocols and policies.
Qualifications:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- 5 - 10 years’ work experience in an international development / NGO or governmental diplomatic / foreign service capacity.
- Regional MENA exposure from either personal or professional experience
- Bilingual language skills - English + 1 or 1 + English (Arabic preferred but not essential).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Thorough understanding of Monitoring, Research, Evaluation, and Learning (MREL) methods, tools, and techniques.
- Flexible, adaptable and able to work on own initiative.
- Proven relationship builder.
