Project Manager / PMO - Tech / Change - Sheffield
Oscar Technology is working exclusively with an outsourcer that is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a small PMO function in their South Yorkshire office.
The role would effectively lead 2.5 Project Managers in a Head of PMO role, which combines personally delivering 2-3 projects, ensuring the team is delivering against the governance processes & protocols that are already in place, plus providing timely progress reports and updates to leadership & clients.
Projects are typically onboarding clients and integrating their client's systems with our client's platforms, then ultimately overseeing the delivery of the outsourced business services that our client offers, before passing them over into the Service Delivery team.
Whilst the role is called 'Head of PMO' the role would suit a Project Manager that has experience of delivering IT, Business Systems and/or Business Change projects, whilst working in a structured Project Office that has governance & control processes in place.
Required
- Experience in Project Management
- Good Stakeholder Management experience
- Client facing experience
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good attention to detail
- Working with project team members including Business analysts, developers and contractors
- Project Governance and reporting
- Strong understanding of business processes
- Project Management Certification, e.g. Prince2, PMI
