Salary:                         Up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience

Hours:                          37.5 hours per week, ½ day finish on Fridays, onsite parking.

Due to substantial business growth a leading global manufacturing company based in Poole are seeking to add an experienced Project Manager to their team.

You will be working within a small team of Project Managers / Engineers to plan and manage Client projects from initial concept through to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, to specification and within budgets.

Within this role you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

• Managing a number of projects at one time to deliver projects in full, on time and to budget
• Liaising with various departments within the business to manage the resource required at each stage of the project (Sales, Design, Engineering, Production, Operations, Purchasing, and Quality etc.)
• At initial concept, working alongside the client and departments within the business to define project requirements, timeframes and project scope ensuring that the projects are able to be delivered prior project acceptance
• Collating and maintaining project costings
• Creating project plans
• Working with the Client and Design team to facilitate the design process, prototyping and sign off of project
• Managing the project in to production, delivering to agreed client timeframes.
• Reporting progress, managing risks, and focusing on cost adherence.
• Managing customer contact with project updates, solving any issues in the project delivery.
• Occasional Client / Supplier’s visits may be required.

The successful applicant will:

• Previous experience of working within a Project Management / Project Engineering position within manufacturing, engineering or Industrial equipment.
• Experience of managing multiple projects from initial concept through to delivery
• An excellent communicator who has the ability to work alongside a number of different resources and able to get the best out of everyone.
• Experience of working with MRP / ERP systems

Hours: 37.5 hours per week – Monday – Friday; 8am – 5pm with an earlier finish on a Friday
