Project Manager (Post Construction)

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, innovative Post-Construction Project Manager to join our newly structured Latent Defects team.
Are you:
- Knowledgeable in diagnosing defects, particularly in new builds?
- Solution-focused when communicating?
- Able to access and understand as-built drawings, O&Ms manuals, warranties and insurance documents?
- Educated to a minimum HND level in a relevant Construction, Development, Planning or Built Environment discipline?
- Able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of CDM Regulations and H&S compliance, as well as specification writing, tendering and procurement?
- Committed to providing excellent customer service?
- Keen to keep abreast of industry best practice and changes in legislation?
If so, we would love to hear from you! Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Post-Construction Project Manager on a permanent basis at our Westminster Bridge Road office.
A bit about the role:
As a Project Manager (Post-Construction), you will oversee the management and resolution of latent defects, ensuring lessons are learned; which will influence the future design, specification and quality management of Peabody's new build properties.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Liaising and negotiating with contractors and consultants, employer’s agents, legal and industry bodies such as NHBC, BRE and warranty providers, all the while working within budget and timeframes in seeking first time round solution
- Ensuring that disruption to residents is kept to a minimum as we strive for the highest levels of customer satisfaction in all that we do.
- Keeping detailed and transparent records in our filing systems, so colleagues will always be aware of actions being taken aware of actions being taken.
- Feeding back lessons learned and identification of trends to Design & Quality teams, driving positive changes to existing employer’s requirements and technical specifications which will shape our future new-build properties
This role will require a minimum of 1 to 2 days working in the Westminster Bridge Road office.
