Duration: 3 months with potential extension
Location: Flexible, with teams primarily in Warwick and Leicestershire (Ashby-de-la-Zouch)
Travel: 20% - 40% travel throughout the UK required
Rate: Circa £500 per day via Umbrella Company

Project Overview: Join a dynamic team working on a significant project in the energy sector. We are building a substantial tranche of carbon capture infrastructure, involving repurposing existing networks and constructing new pipelines spanning 280km. This project is currently in the early stages, transitioning from feasibility to conceptual design, and requires additional team members to support its expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Compile tender packs for the feed phase of the project
- Utilize oil and gas experience in conceptual design phase
- Lead procurement processes including tender pack creation, response evaluation, and bid compilation
- Prioritize procurement focus over project management
- Foster collaboration among team members
- Take a proactive approach to project needs
Requirements:
- Strong background in oil and gas industry
- Experience in conceptual design phase of projects
- Familiarity with procurement processes including tender pack creation and bid evaluation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Proactive attitude towards project tasks
- Nice to have: Chemical engineering background or proficiency in other engineering disciplines
- Familiarity with Prince methodology is a plus
