Your main responsibility is to extract projects from the initial brief and develop into a fully defined scope, ensuring that the package is fully specified, tendered/reviewed, and competitively priced with all necessary surveys.

This role also includes providing project handover files to the Project Delivery Team for delivery and liaising with outside agencies/external stake holders as required to assist in the co-ordination of access and /or programming of works.
Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure full compliance with ADSL’s Management System QHSE policies and procedures throughout all areas of responsibility.
  • Review condition surveys in conjunction with maintenance reports to identify and scope required works.
  • Manage 3rd party consultants as required to obtain designs and specifications to meet ADSL contractual obligations.
  • Manage investigations and surveys that support and inform project information as required to minimise project risk.
  • Oversee the production of scopes, specifications, and documentation to support tenders and RFQs.
  • Develop fully documented, evidenced, justified, scoped, programmed, and costed Projects for approval.
  • Manage compliance to statutory legislation including, Building regulations, Listed Building / Planning Applications, Design and Fire Officer Requirements & CDM.

Essential skills required to do well in this role includes:

  • NQF Level 4/5
  • Educated to a minimum HNC/HND level or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • Recognised built environment Technical Body membership such as RICS, RIBA, CIOB, IET, CIBSE or CABE.
  • Planning and pricing programmes of work for projects.
  • Able to communicate clearly to inform and influence others on what they need to know, when they need to know it; uses effective methods to deliver message.
  • Stakeholder management.
  • Understanding of the RIBA plan of work stages and required information at each stage.
  • Able to read and understand specifications and interpret designs.

Other essential experience necessary includes knowledge of building regulations, managing tenders, pre-construction management and CDM regulations necessary to prepare the Pre-Construction Information pack.

Ready to join the team?

You must have a recognised Construction or M&E Project Management qualification, as well as NQF Level 4/5 in a relevant discipline.

Salary: Up to £46,900 dependent on skills and experience
Location: Tidworth/Bulford
