Project Manager Supply Chain -Global Procurement and Supply Management PMO - 104621

The role we are offering you:

As part of the Special Projects, Process and Compliance team, your role will drive global improvement initiatives, leading exciting projects in digitization, global alignment, data and analytics driving the delivery of a best-in-class Global Procurement and Supply Management organization. 

The person will need to show strong collaboration and engage with CAE sites globally to help drive improvements and operational efficiencies, always keeping the user experience at the center of all we do.

In your role, you will:

  • Coordinate and deliver interactive workshops to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and costs

  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility, budget clarity and resource requirements

  • Develop detailed project plans, a strong stakeholder management approach, and communication strategies to ensure the appropriate involvement and engagement

  • Define, assign and monitor project tasks based on the skill sets, experience and strengths of team members, and coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

  • Monitoring project performance to ensure timely delivery, including critical path definition, go / no-go criteria, escalation paths and resolution methods

  • Effectively communicate project progress through executive summaries, steerco reviews and executive management engagements

  • Work effectively with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementation

  • Exhibit excellent leadership, customer relations and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders

  • Always keeping the user experience at the heart of all we do, deliver solutions that improve our ability to deliver and drive a high-performing, high-tech organization

Our ideal candidate has

  • Bachelor’s degree in procurement or relevant work experience, PMP certification is an asset

  • Very good understanding of source-to-pay process and business interactions

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

  • Strong sense of autonomy, ability to set priorities, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Focus on customer and delivery, keeping the user experience at the heart of all we do

  • Approach situations with a strategic and global mindset, delivering standardization and continuous improvement through a practical methodology

  • Knowledge of Ariba S2P (Sourcing, Contracts, Buying and Invoicing) and related modules

  • Knowledge of Oracle procurement is an asse:
