The Company
My client is looking for a Project Manager who has experience in taking a Ministry of Justice (Prison) project from inception to completion. My client is a Tier 1 Main Contractor known for quality and has excellent reputation in the industry.
The Role
You will be responsible for the management of an a site team along with external works subcontract packages which include groundworks, structural and 278 works packages. Your role will include but not be limited to:
- Report directly to the Project Director.
- Follow and amend programmes of works in line with the annual programme set out by the Contracts Manager & Commercial Manager.
- Manage resources of the project to maximise output and deliver to programme.
- Control subcontract packages.
- Health & safety management and promotion in line with the company policies and procedures.
- Regularly review with the team progress against programme.
- Chair subcontractor site progress meetings.
- Create and maintain accurate site reports.
- Quality inspections.
About You
- You will have gained circa 3+ years experience as a Project Manager within the build environment working directly for a Main Contractor
- Have the correct CITB and First Aid qualifications for the position.
- Be able to control subcontract packages.
- Good level of IT literacy in Microsoft Office packages.
- Recent and relevant experience.
- Strong organisational skills with proven time management skills.
