About Our Client:

Responsibilities:

• Confirming building plans with site team, as well as sub-contractors
• Creating work schedules so projects are completed before deadlines
• Overseeing building projects to ensure staff are working safely, productively and to a high standard
• Attendance at Risk Review meetings
• Monitoring construction budget to minimise overspending
• Providing information to commercial team to enable applications to be made
• Providing progress reports to clients via phone, email or meetings in person
• Working with client team to managing changed required through investigation works
• Negotiating with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors
• Production of design briefs for CDP elements of work

The ideal candidate

• Previous and proven experience within a Project Manager role
• Experience in the nuclear/energy field
• Understanding of works on a controlled site
• Understanding of NEC form of contract
• Use of ASTA Power Project
• Understanding of Earned Value Analysis submission

Technologies:

• Use of Autocad for red/blue line drawings
• Use of Navisworks for model information

Qualifications: MSc Civil Engineering or equivalent, CEng preferable
