Contract type: Fixed term contract up to February 2027 Role Summary We are seeking an ambitious individual who can develop their project management career with us, working as part of an inclusive, supportive team within women’s Health Research. We have a wide ranging portfolio of research projects and there are many opportunities for personal and professional development in project management, and we welcome applicants with relevant experience in supporting research with clinical trial elements across the lifecycle and/or with direct trial coordination experience within the NHS to join our team and expand their development in project management and delivery. The role will typically include national coordination of communication and engagement activities; prioritisation of deliverables; budget management, evaluation and review; stakeholder engagement and a firm grasp of current research policies, Person Specification Qualified to Degree level or equivalent plus practical managerial experience of complex research projects or significant relevant experience of research management demonstrated through increasingly more demanding roles evidencing the experience necessary for this role. Proven track record of successful project management. Experience of clinical trial co-ordination including an in-depth understanding of clinical research, site set up and trial management. Evidence of literacy and numeracy, with the ability to write clearly, and to produce and analyse information and data. Experience coordinating regulatory and ethics submissions, grant applications, protocol amendments, patient information, trial management forms, reports to funders, budget reports and other documents. Excellent budgetary management skills and experience. Highly proficient IT skills, including the MS Office and website editing software. You should be confident and able to quickly learn new IT skills and software packages as required. Excellent interpersonal, communication, relationship building and influencing skills with the ability to deal confidently with a range of internal and external stakeholders/contacts. Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills with a methodical approach to work and the ability to prioritise workloads in order to meet deadlines. Willingness to meet the travel requirements of the role, to include but not limited to, national NHS sites and academic institutes. Knowledge of the protected characteristics of the Equality Act 2010, and how to actively ensure in day to day activity in own area that those with protected characteristics are treated equally and fairly.
