Job description

As part of its commitment to the Greater Manchester Further Education Innovation Programme (FEIF), Oldham College is looking to appoint a Project Monitoring Manager to report all findings to the Finance Director. The Project Monitoring Manager for the FEIF project will be responsible for ensuring the smooth progression and effective oversight of project activities. This role will involve coordinating activities across multiple partners and ensuring accurate data collection to facilitate learning and development throughout the project duration. This includes coordinating and meticulously maintaining records of essential FEIF activities, supporting, coordinating, and monitoring project endeavours, and producing regular, precise reports for the Project Director. Acting as a vital link between project managers, team members, and stakeholders, the Manager facilitates transparent communication channels, share project updates, milestones, and challenges, and distributes relevant project documentation and materials. In addition, the role involves assisting in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of project activities, maintaining accurate record-keeping for all project-related documents, and collaborating with project teams to address and resolve issues impacting project quality. The Monitoring Manager will ensure project timelines and milestones are met and collaborates with cross-college teams to gather essential information essential for the evaluation process.
