Job Title: Project Planning and Integration Lead

Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £57,000+ depending on skills and experience plus executive level benefits including car allowance and bonus

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Maintaining Product group Financial Information
  • Maintaining view on Product group Risk, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies
  • Collating and Managing programme group Resource Requirements
  • Measuring and Reporting on Product Group Performance
  • Ensuring Procurement & Commercial support to the Product(s)/group
  • Oversight & reporting on Pre-Sales/Demand for Product Group working with Product Managers
  • Business Facing lead for Key Users and Group Training Provision

 

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Financial experience including budgeting and planning#Risk, Issue and Dependency Management skills
  • End to end lifecycle management experience within a programme or large project
  • Ideally have an IT background with good understanding of how Enterprise level IT supports a large complex organisation
  • Experience with senior stakeholder management

Desirable:

  • Complex project delivery experience
  • Project Management qualification
  • Process Improvement

The Planning and Integration team:

As an IM&T Leader, you will have a key role within the IM&T Product Development Group which focuses on the IT services associated with the Engineering phases of our Submarines lifecycle.

This will require you to take responsibility for planning, coordinating and leading resources in the support of the Product Development teams, in order to achieve business objectives whilst maintaining the principles of professional standards, accountability, openness, equality and diversity and clarity of purpose. You will take responsibility for review of management processes (and decisions) to ensure that they are compliant with the organisation's strategy for corporate governance of IT.

This role will provide you with the opportunity for development within your own skillset and the wider BAE Systems team. You will be able to develop a deep understanding of the IT Product Group, the IT function and the Engineering lifecycle and support on a wide range of tasks, projects and initiatives. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
