Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home or another remote location. It’s a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. As a minimum we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.

What you will be doing:

You will be r eporting to the Project Controls Manager and you will be responsible for p reparing, maintaining & summarising schedules of activities and events of projects, taking account of dependencies and financial milestones. Reporting in to the Business and Client and escalating issues as appropriate.

  • Ensure effective monitoring & control of overall project plan, allowing all functions to understand performance in their areas.
  • Identifying and monitoring project risks.
  • Understand budgets for projects while controlling forecast and actual costs against them.
  • Supporting Supply Chain in the effective day to day supplier relationship management and operational performance of partners and suppliers.

  • Vast experience in infrastructure, construction type projects, preferably within the nuclear industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of Scheduling and use of P6, with a working knowledge of Cost & Reporting.
  • Knowledge of Project Management processes, tools and techniques.
  • A proven track record in delivering results, utilising the schedule to underpin Claims & Variations.
  • Possesses the flexibility to respond to uncertain or ambiguous situations with a minimum of stress.

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place.
Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets, you must hold a UK nationality. Any dual nationals will require additional scrutiny and background checks prior to commencing work with RRSL.
