Joining our team of 3 you will act as the principal point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders on project and supplier quality. You will develop, monitor and improve processes and procedures that directly impact Project Quality and assure correct application by the wider programme stakeholders. The role will be responsible for assurance support for documentation generated throughout the design, production, commissioning, testing and delivery of the project to meet internal standards, regulatory standards and those required to support the customer acceptance process.

What the role will involve
The responsibilities of your role will include the following:
- Leading the preparation and execution of:
- Internal audits within established engineering, manufacturing and production controls to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications and standards.
- First Article Inspections
- Assisting with root cause and corrective actions to address product and process non conformances and compliance gaps
- Monitor and review Supplier corrective and preventative actions including: customer escapes, process non-conformities, improvements and supplier corrective actions
- Monitoring the quality of documentation and outputs generated throughout the project and product lifecycle to support acceptance.
What you’ll bring
The role of Quality Engineer requires the following experience and skills:
- Qualification in Quality Assurance & Mechanical/Manufacturing/Software Engineering
- Internal auditing or demonstrated extensive experience in Quality Assurance in an ISO9001/AS9100 environment.
- Advanced experience APQP and control plans
- Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment
- Experience in a Supplier Quality background would be beneficial
