Project Quality Lead

Rhino Recruitment is excited to partner with a major company in South Wales that is looking for someone to oversee the quality assurance and control processes for our car filtration systems projects. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and supply chain, to ensure that all products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive quality management, with a focus on filtration systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols for car filtration systems.
• Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and resolve quality issues promptly, using root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
• Lead quality-related aspects of filtration system projects from conception to completion.
• Coordinate with project managers to integrate quality management processes into project timelines.
• Monitor project milestones and deliverables to ensure quality objectives are met

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance within the automotive industry, preferably with a focus on filtration systems.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
• Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Quality Management (e.g., CQE, CQM).
• Experience with advanced filtration technologies and materials.
• Familiarity with automotive manufacturing processes and supply chain management.

Pay: £43,000.00-£47,000.00 per year
