Quantity Surveyor
Our client, Manley Construction based in Drogheda, is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary building contractor with over 35 years' experience in the construction industry. They are currently seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

This role would include 2 residential projects, one in Rush (62 Units) and Drogheda (approx. 350 units to be completed).

Job Description:
- Managing all aspects of the Quantity Surveying for a construction project.
- Developing the Supply Chain
- Project procurement
- Preparing monthly project payment applications and cost reports
- Monitoring of project costs and agreeing variations
- Remeasuring of site works
- Reporting monthly to senior management on the financial performance
- Preparing and presenting cost / risk analysis
- Managing all aspects of tender including the financial assessments
- Ensuring best value is achieved regarding all elements
- Auditing and reporting on sub-contractor/suppliers return
Requirements:
- Residential Experience is essential
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role with a Main Contractor in a similar role
- 3rd level Construction/Building Qualification
- Be able to communicate well and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of construction practices, trades and techniques
- A track record in securing profitable projects
- A full clean European driver's license and a form of transport which will enable you to fulfil your responsibilities
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
