Job description

Our client is Europe's leading provider of high visibility impact protection and safety solutions for the industrial workplace such as warehouses, manufacturing hubs and logistics hubs. Through continued growth they are looking recruit a Project Safety Site Manager to work on various sites completing project installations.

You will be responsible for 3-6 sites at any one time, managing from start to completion all projects installations on site as per quote and works. and would be responsible for the on site Health and Safety of people, installation teams and machinery. (you would not be expected to be onsite for duration of project ) mainly at start of the project and on completion to sign off when completed. You will work from home. (vehicle will be provided)

Main Accountabilities -

  • As divided by the Project Delivery Manage to ensure you fully understand the scope of works to be completed on each project including phasing, PC date and Early Access
  • Ensure you fully understand the site plans, RAMS and COSHH statements, and obtain induction training on site before work commences
  • Ensure the Daily and weekly permits are signed on and off on site
  • Fully understand the of scope of works as per detailed phasing for site installations to allow efficiency and productivity for you and your team teams
  • Timely organisation for you and your team each day so as we maximise each day, material deployment, assign work areas and set out expectation for works to be completed
  • To maintain plant requirements on site and to off hire plant, through the Project Delivery Manager before we finish on site, ensuring that weekly updates are given so that invoicing can be completed.
  • Concise programme information issued by the Project Delivery Manager to be followed and daily reporting maintained throughout the project, any changes from the program to be discussed with the Project Delivery Manager - Weekly reporting on the progress so timely invoicing can be achieved
  • Management of equipment on site in an organised fashion completing weekly inventory checks and sending them through to the Project Delivery Manger advanced organisation of materials to be collected whilst teams are on site
  • To feed back to the Project Delivery Manager once the job is complete so as a post implementation review can be completed after every project both operational and financial to understand what worked and what did not work well. To ensure we learn and develop with continuous improvement
  • Timely communication of variations to works required to ensure costed and approved to keep work ongoing and ensure costs are recovered appropriately
  • Agree set down location for materials on site secure with fencing or container
  • High level communication to customers always maintained on site
  • Be first point of an escalation issues timeline and ensure all customer complaints are logged and tracked through the Project Delivery Manager
  • With the Project Delivery Manager complete full PC hand over with the client ensuring Snagging is completed timely
  • Lead by example, create great team dynamics & develop a work ethic that means they enjoy coming to work, achieving results & being part of a super impressive team with positive attitude and approach

Person Specification -

  • You will have experience of running site installation projects to sign off.
  • Experience of RAMS and COSHH statements
