Job Title: Project Sales Engineer
Department: Project Sales
Location: Home/ office based contract. You must be based within 20 miles of Bristol
Reports to: Paul James (Regional Sales Manager Central Region)
Hours: 39 hours per week

General Description
To proactively sell Kingfisher Lighting Ltd and all its associated products and services through planning, managing and developing a profiled business/territory portfolio.
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure that set monthly and yearly targets are achieved.
- Proactively maintain and generate new business and enquiries through existing and new customers.
- Ensuring all designs are carried out through either the design office or manged within your work schedule through AGI software
- Effective and self-sufficient time / diary management
- Provide excellent customer service to all clients
- Key Account Manage clients and prospective clients in your allocated area- arranging quotes, holding margin, oversee order entry and project management
- Work with your line manager to create and implement sales strategies
- Answer all telephone & e-mail enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure that your project bank is kept up to date
- Be able to forward forecast for your area to help with the buying / product forecasting
- Proactively book and conduct presentations to your customer base on a regular basis
Additional Responsibilities
- To ensure that all Kingfisher Lighting Ltd procedures and policies are adhered to as instructed
- Look for ways to improve you and your teams performance
- To undertake any necessary training for your development
- Be prepared to assist other departments as and when requested
- Carry out any other duties requested of you
- Be prepared to work extra hours if required
- Be prepared to travel nationally with nights out
Knowledge
Good lighting knowledge
The knowledge of the specification sales process/construction industry
Skill Requirement
- Good Teamwork skills
- Computer Literate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with contacts at all levels
- Good organisational skills
Experience
- A proven track record in sales and have previous success in achieving sales targets and KPI’s, experience in the
- lighting & construction industry would be an advantage but not essential.
