About the Opportunity

Nuclear Power Programmes are delivering client critical works to some of our major UK and European Projects. Our embedded teams are delivering support to Hinkley Point C (New build power station in the South West), Sizewell C (located in the South East), helping develop technologies in SMR (Small modular Reactor) capability and working towards building Poland's first Nuclear Power station.

Working in both client facing and internal roles we are delivering major programme and project management capabilities throughout the project lifecycle. We are driving to deliver safe, high quality and to time solutions by thinking innovatively and working collaboratively.

We are seeking a Project Scheduler to assist, aid and advise the ITBE manager in all things related to project schedule in delivering their projects on time according to the site need date on the Hinkley Point C Project. This is a key role within our embedded team based at our Bristol office location. Hybrid working will be possible between the office and home around project commitments. Key responsibilities will be:

  • To comply with project controls procedures, processes, and systems to ensure that quality and consistency of data is maintained.
  • Production and maintenance of complex schedules (Primavera P6 and Palladin)
  • Work with the Project Manager and the Project team to establish the project activities, durations and ensure that these reflect project scope, constraints, and commitments. Challenge as necessary to ensure compatibility and compliance.
  • Provide planning support to all ITBE stakeholders
  • Interface with other departments regarding the project’s activities which may have an impact and ensure these are correctly captured.
  • Integrate 3rd party schedules and data into the Schedule.
  • Monitor the planning progress of the main contractual milestones (from Start of Contract to DTS)
  • Develop, control, monitor, analyses and report on schedule related aspects
