Our Client is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Supervisor to play a crucial role in delivering construction projects on site. If you're a seasoned professional with a passion for construction supervision and safety, we want you to be part of our client's dynamic team
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently supervise safe, secure, and environmentally compliant work within the safety operating envelope.
- Manage and monitor contractor performance, ensuring tasks are carried out by competent personnel.
- Assimilate revisions to processes and legislation into working practice.
- Review and assist in the preparation of safe system of work documentation.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for the safe delivery of work.
- Contribute to project progress reporting, programme statusing, and handover documentation.
- Report and investigate abnormal conditions, unusual occurrences, and failures.
- Perform safety inspections, patrols, and participate in emergency response exercises.
Aptitudes, Qualifications, and Experience:
- Construction industrial environment experience.
- CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) or equivalent.
- Experience in supervising personnel and coordinating work activities.
- Knowledge of work control processes and safe systems of work.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Understanding and awareness of safety issues.
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills for a collaborative team environment.
- Adaptable and open to change with a positive approach.
- Previous experience and training in civil or trade, construction, lifting, and radiological work would be advantageous.
