We are looking for someone to #JoinUs as a Project Support Officer within our Corporate Services Department. Could you be who we are looking for?
About the Department you will be joining:
- Sitting within the portfolio of the Deputy Chief Constable, the Corporate Services Department acts as a professional and dynamic advisory service to the organisation across a wide range of business areas.
- This role will suit a dynamic individual who will manage and co-ordinate projects, in support of the Force’s Change Programme.
- Our office is based at South Wales Police Headquarters in Bridgend, but we offer a hybrid working policy which supports working from your home.
About the role and your key responsibilities:
- As part of the Programme Management Office, you will work closely with the project managers and programme manager responsible for delivering the Force’s programme of change.
- As a Project Support Officer you will work closely with Project Managers who are responsible for continuous improvement, benefits management and demand and capability profiling.
- The Project Support Officer is responsible for supporting our Project Managers in ensuring project management methodologies are adhered to in accordance with our robust governance structure.
What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:
If you have a knowledge of project management methodology and have experience of supporting project managers, we would love to hear from you.
We are looking for someone with Project Support experience who can support multiple pieces of work within a change environment.
We would like you have advanced skills in Microsoft applications and be able to apply these within a working environment.
