Project Support Officer
My client in the Education sector is looking for a Project Support Officer to support with large scale projects, liaises with stakeholders and students.
The role is a varied one and will include:
- Act as secretary for nominated meetings including the CLS Portfolio Programme Board, encompassing drafting agendas and minutes, preparing and distributing papers, recording actions and decisions.
- Ensure that colleagues are engaged with actions arising from meetings and discussions, proactively monitoring to ensure timely execution of tasks and escalating issues as needed.
- Maintain portfolio map of projects, time line/sequencing, inter dependency and resource allocation ensuring that decisions, implementations and changes are recorded accurately.
- Maintain portfolio documentation and filing, supporting effective governance and ensuring a clear audit trail of decisions.
- Administer and service key governance boards and committees as required, e.g. Project Boards and Project Team meetings.
- Represent the Head of Academic Services in meetings where delegated.
- Support the transition of projects into business as usual and conducting project reviews and lessons learnt exercises.
- Working closely with the Head of Academic Services and other key staff members, provide effective and efficient administrative support to the School's project and change activity.
- Create and maintain project and change templates and documentation, providing guidance and advice to colleagues on how to utilise these.
- Develop and maintain project Teams/Share point sites.
- Manage project related risks and issues, developing and maintaining RAID logs across projects and ensuring that issues are escalated and addressed appropriately.
The role is paying between £41,732 to £48,350 depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will come from a learning and education background with previous project based experience.
