Description

As a Project/PMO Coordinator, you will be joining the business on a permanent basis as part of the project delivery team. Your main responsibility will be to help administer and organise all types of projects, from simple activities to more complex plans; to enable the team to deliver as efficiently as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, updates and documentation.
  • Help set up new projects and manage project governance process(es).
  • Deliver a number of the smaller/short term projects.
  • Track & surface project risks, issues & escalations.
  • Administer our project management tools.
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to relevant stakeholders.
  • Work with the Project Managers and wider teams to eliminate blockers.
  • Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and progress
  • Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g. contracts and terms of agreement).
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.

Profile

The successful candidate will have at least 1-2 years in a similar role as either a Project Coorindator, PMO Coordinator, PMO Analyst or Junior Project Manager.

My client are looking for someone ambitious who is happy to go above and beyond and perhaps has aspirations in the future to become a Project Manager, which they will absolutely support you to achieve through the facilitation of formal training etc.

Other Desireable Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent organisational skills to accurately plan and deliver projects.
  • Effective and clear communication across all levels.
  • Can work within an operational IT environment.
  • Ability to accurately document and maintain records accordingly.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to own and manage projects and tasks through to resolution.
  • Understanding of key software project life cycle & project management stages.
  • Stakeholder management.
  • Previous project administrator / coordinator experience.
