Local Sales Unit Manager
Your role and responsibilities
Accountable for the local management of all project execution activities in the area of responsibility. Ensures operations are executed in accordance with company procedures, relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards, contract specifications, quality standards, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments. Coordinates and oversees team development and standardized process development to continually improve the effectiveness of Project Execution teams. •Leading the implementation of continuous improvements for the project execution strategy for local or regional Project Operations. •Ensuring that the portfolio of projects is managed consistently based on best practices and ABB policies, controls, and requirements. •Overseeing and leading the local Project Execution team, ensuring that ABB policies are consistently followed. •Ensures that the area of responsibility is structured to fit the business model, sufficiently staffed and budgeted with skilled resources, and directed appropriately. •Supervising project execution and performance management through project reviews with the management and Project Managers to ensure contract fulfillment and approving any project deviations.
Qualifications for the role
- You have experience with working with motors and variable speed drives, with knowledge of Electrical and/or Mechanical installation/manufacturing.
- Ability to demonstrate your experience and knowledge in EPC and End User projects e.g. Water industry, Pump OEM, COG whilst using Commercial acumen and basic knowledge of Contract Law.
- You are passionate about effective communication and stakeholder management whilst operating with a high degree of integrity and leading a high performing team.
- Degree in Project management, Contract Management or similar qualification (PMI or APM.).
- Qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering would be advantageous.
