Full Time – Monday – Friday 35/hour week
Some flexibility required (9.00am – 6.30pm)
This role will require someone with previous experience in property management from a Compliance and H&S aspect. The role requires an Enhanced DBS and use of own vehicle to visit properties (paid mileage at .55p/mile).
Duties include:
- Overseeing intensive housing management
- Conducting H & S visits to properties alongside the Tenancy Management Officer
- Working alongside the Tenancy Management officer in identifying H&S /Safeguarding issues
- Resolving queries/issues/remedial/upkeep and maintenance of properties
- Working closely with the Service Manager and Team Leader, liaising with landlord partners when taking on new properties
- Conduct stock condition surveys, pictures/videos when taking on new leased accommodation
- Documenting track record of all works conducted
- Ensure maintenance spreadsheet audited weekly, identifying any issues are followed up through the relevant team until works signed off
- Ensure any risk assessments are reviewed in line with the company policies and procedures
- Assist Head of Service in ensuring compliance and all quality assurance by consistent audit checking
- Audit repairs and liaison with contractors
- Attend external meetings, promoting the organisation within the community
- Be able to respond to emergency situations in a calm, organised manner
About You
- Excellent communicator – both written and verbal
- Good eye for detail and a passion for Health and Safety
- Ability to assess risk and respond efficiently and effectively at pace
- Must be a car driver/owner and prepared to use own vehicle with the claim of company mileage
- Previous knowledge of BQAF and SHiP desirable
- Must have previous Housing /Tenancy knowledge
- Practical and pragmatic
- Can work on own initiative and part of a team
