The role will support the design and engineering team when detailing proposed solutions for customers across a variety of projects and industries.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating detailed technical proposals, ranging from PLC and SCADA systems to full turnkey solutions. Collaboration with sales teams and customers to understand and exceed expectations is key. Accuracy in proposals and strong written English skills are critical. You’ll also manage quotation cost spreadsheets and liaise with suppliers and engineering for accurate tendering. Building and maintaining professional customer relationships, and responding promptly to their needs, is a vital part of the role.
Background required:
- Commercial Awareness/ knowledge of commercial contracts
- Must have good attention to detail and be able to communicate effectively both formally and informally, orally and in written English.
- Experience working in regulated industries such as Life Sciences, Chemical Manufacturing or Power and Energy is also highly desirable.
- Effective time management & time planning
- Solution selling focussed to meet clients’ needs.
