Proposals Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Proposals Manager to join our team within the Peak Technology Solutions division.  As the Proposals Manager you will be responsible for collation and submission of technical tenders to a number of key clients within the Utilities sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for preparing and providing cost effective viable automation / electrical proposals based on customer / tender requirements by using the necessary engineering tools (e.g.: IAB)
• Consult with our clients to get a full understanding of their specific project requirement.
• Complete detailed site surveys
• Review scoping documentation, URS documentation and ascertain clarification on any queries.
• Accurately project hour estimations for all engineering tasks
• Participate in technical meetings with our clients to ensure all requirements are met.
• Facilitate in house technical meetings with management and engineering leads to discuss technical proposals.
• Generate proposals and accurate costings for bespoke, complex automation solutions.
• Source subcontractor quotations when required to achieve scope delivery.
• Engage with the delivery teams to technically and accurately handover full proposal information.
• Assist and lead, as necessary, framework applications.
• Suggest and drive implementation of proposal process improvements.

Skills & Experience:

• You will be technically competent in the following.
• Control systems and control engineering.
• Process knowledge.
• PLC/HMI/SCADA/Telemetry
• Electrical control panel design and commissioning
• Microsoft Office – including Microsoft Project
• CDM
• Utilities and Infrastructure knowledge
