Protection Sales ManagerAccountabilities

  • Accountable for the performance and adherence to process of the protection team.
  • Accountable for managing the relationship with the Mortgage-only Advisers and ensuring that the protection team deal with leads effectively.
  • Accountable for promoting the required level of protection penetration (45%) throughout the company.
  • Accountable for ensuring adherence across the company to the protection processes put in place.
  • Accountable for the protection training and development of the Mortgage & Protection Advisers and Protection-only Advisers
  • Accountable for own protection performance.

Protection Sales ManagerGeneral responsibilities

  • Follow the sales management weekly operating rhythm including, weekly 1-1s, team meetings, sales management meetings.
  • Weekly 1-1 check-ins with the protection advisers to check trackers, pipeline management, take a business pledge, review 'not sats’, NTUs and any other process issues
  • Weekly team meeting to motivate, excite and challenge the team’s performance.
  • Daily updates to the team on performance
  • Occasional spot checks on the protection adviser’s meetings with the mortgage-only adviser, to ensure they are robust, with the right balance of challenge and support.
  • Supporting admin with the oversight of the company’s protection processes.
  • Training and supporting new protection advisers.
  • Providing protection training and development for the advisers that sell both mortgages & protection.
  • Regular checking and monitoring of company protection processes to ensure that all advisers are following the requirements.
  • Quarterly 1-1s to develop the advisers.
  • Providing protection stats.
  • Attend the Monthly Management meeting at the Wokingham office
