Our client is a leading Engineering & Manufacturing consultancy providing services into Energy, Aerospace & Defence industries. They urgently seek experienced Prototype Wirers on a permanent basis.
It essential that you are able to gain Security clearance in the UK to be considered for this role.
The role:

• To produce high quality wiring looms, Cable assemblies, wiring cabinets & fixtures
• Highly skilled in crimping, lacing and splicing to Aerospace standards
• Exposure to PCB Assembly would be desirable

Key Skills, experience and attributes:

• Extensive knowledge of cable types, connectors, cable assembly techniques and applications
• Able to liaise with in-house engineers with technical queries and provide build solutions for prototype assemblies
• Understanding of engineering drawings, wiring schedules and circuit diagrams
• Able to solder to a consistently high standard
• Familiar with a variety of mil spec connectors, cable production techniques
• Able to work to IPC 620 Class 3

Hours & Benefits

• Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm, Fridays 8am - 1pm
• Option to move to a compressed 4 day working week
• Flexible start and finish times
• 24 days holiday plus bank holidays
