PSV/HGV Technician
Shorterm Group are currently representing a client with over 20 years industry experience, who are looking for an experienced PSV/HGV technician to join one of their busy depots on a full-time employed basis.

As a PSV/HGV Technician, the role will entail:
* Mechanical and electrical repair, preventative maintenance and modification of customer vehicles and related ancillary equipment.
* Undertaking diagnostic analysis where appropriate.
* Working as part of a team to maintain and build employee and customer relations to ensure the workshop operation achieves its objectives and targets.
* Correctly fault diagnosing to ensure parts are fitted correctly and warranty claims are in line with terms.
* Dealing professionally and proficiently with all enquiries and completing job cards and service sheets in a timely manner.
* Responsibility for the safety of the working environment and all colleagues/persons within it.
The PSV/HGV Technician will have:
* Experience within a commercial dealer environment working on HGVs or Bus
* Practical understanding of using information technology and systems to deliver objectives.
* A safety conscious and committed to a right first-time ethos.
* Experience of working in a fast paced and demanding customer environment, with a flexible approach towards meeting the needs of the customer.
* Enthusiasm, with the ability to work on your own initiative, remaining focused and consistent and a 'can do' attitude.
* Good team work ethic, with the ability to get on with colleagues.
* Commercial awareness and has a good understanding and experience of a busy workshop operating environment.
* A PSV licence & knowledge of related compliance.
* An HGV Class 1 license preferred but not essential or NVQ level 3 is essential.
Working hours:
Rotating shift pattern:
* Earlies - 6am - 2:30pm
* Lates - 2pm - 10:30pm
