Are you looking for experience working with SEMH, SEN, ASD and ADHD children?

A lovely school in Slough is looking for a mental health assistant to join their team in September. They are looking for a Mental Health Assistant who is either a Psychology Graduate or has experience with ASD, ADHD and SEN. In this role as Mental Health Assistant, you will be valued as a part of a vital team and will be supported throughout your whole time there.

The school are looking for a Mental Health Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil with SEMH who is resilient and patient. The school also have a role supporting a lovely Year 6 pupil with ASD and ADHD who is also part of a small group who have complex needs.

Your role as Mental Health Assistant may include, but not be limited to the following responsibilities:

• Supporting children's behaviour for learning in the classroom.
• Helping children with their understanding of the teacher's instructions.
• Working with individual learners in the classroom 1:1, or working with individuals or small groups in the Learning Support department.
• Keeping track and recording pupil progress.
