About Us:
The Role: Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant - East Grinstead
As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting students with various SEN requirements, including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and more.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN.
Collaborating with teachers to adapt and modify lesson plans.
Assisting in the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Promoting social and emotional development through positive interactions.
Creating a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
Monitoring progress and providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Inspiring and motivating students to reach their full potential.
Requirements:
To thrive in this role, you should have:
A Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field.
Genuine empathy and patience when working with children with SEN.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A strong desire to contribute to the educational development of SEN students.
