As a Teaching Assistant with a background in Psychology, you will have the opportunity to support students in various aspects of their academic and personal growth. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-on-one support to students with academic challenges or behavioural needs.
- Assisting in the implementation of behavioural interventions and support plans.
- Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to create inclusive learning environments
- Supporting students with social and emotional development through mentoring and guidance.
Requirements:
- A degree in psychology (minimum lower second)
- Have experience working with secondary-aged children, whether through tutoring, mentoring, or volunteering.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient demeanour.
- An enhanced DBS on the online update service (or willing to get one)
