A new independent school is urgently looking for Psychology Teachers. Competitive rates of pay. Psychology Teacher ' Brighton ' Permanent ' Full-time ' Competitive Salary A brand new international, independent school in the Brighton area are looking for an experienced Psychology teacher to join a new team of dynamic, forward thinking and passionate teachers. The school\'s model aims to prepare all pupils for top University destinations whilst ensuring the highest levels of personal development. Academic staff will fulfil an important role in ensuring these outcomes, contributing to the development of their subject across the College and to their "Super Curriculum" programme encompassing personal development, careers guidance and preparation, academic support and extension. What you'll need to succeed: The ideal candidate will have a flexible, creative approach to their subject, looking to support students' academic aims and to develop the provision across the College. Academic staff are likely to have tutoring responsibilities and will be expected to contribute to the wider life of the College through clubs, activities, and supervision duties. The school will attract high-achieving and ambitious students from across the world including local day students. In year 1, entry will be at Year 9, Year 10 (GCSE), Year 11 (intensive 1 year GCSE) and Year 12 (AS and A Level). The culture of the College is one of high expectations, with a Collegiate feel achieved through a relatively informal uniform and the use of teachers' and students' first names. There will be a requirement to work approximately 1 half day on a Saturday per half term.
