Tradewind are recruiting for a Psychology Teacher for one of our client secondary schools in Wigan. This is a long-term maternity position due to start in April 2024 and will continue until at least July, with the potential of being extended until December 2024. Our client school are seeking a Psychology Teacher to teach to KS5 in addition to teaching Criminology to KS5. Pay for this position, depending on experience, will be up to £211.96 per day.

The successful Psychology Teacher will be joining a department who aim to offer an engaging and effective introduction to social studies. The courses focus on contemporary society and foster the development of critical and reflective thinking with a respect for individual and social diversity.
To be considered for this Psychology Teacher position the essential requirements are:
- A recognised teaching qualification, our client school is only able to consider QTS candidates
- Experience teaching Psychology to KS5
- Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
- Full and complete career history
- Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
- Legal right to work in the UK
