Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a PT Office Receptionist to join our friendly and supportive team, based out of our Preston Head Office. Upon successful application you will be responsible for carrying out reception duties, answering the telephone and ensuring calls are routed to the correct person within the organisation along with providing general administrative support across the business.

· Competitive salary £11.50 per hour (rising to £12.44 after probation)

· 20hrs a week Monday – Friday 10.00 – 14.30

· 20days +BH (pro rata) - with additional days accrued with length of service.

As PT Office Receptionist your duties will include:

· Reception duties, including welcoming visitors, answering the main telephone, and routing calls to relevant individuals and departments.

· Overseeing the scheduling and booking of meeting rooms and arranging refreshments and / or other corporate catering when required.

· Maintaining office inventory, including ensuring an adequate supply of consumables, such as stationery, cleaning products and tea and coffee etc

· Maintaining the provision of the company’s internal ‘tuck shop’ and weekly fruit order.

· Acting as a point of contact for the companies approved maintenance suppliers including cleaners, printer suppliers, water and coffee machines and general ad hoc office maintenance. Etc

· Arrange collection via our approved couriers and assist in packaging parcels for delivery.

· Sort and distribute incoming post and organise and send outgoing post,

· Basic day to day accounts support

· Ensuring all internal processes are followed.

· Other general administration roles across the business.

· Any other duties that may be required

Required skills, and Experience for the role of PT Office Receptionist include:

· Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills

· Enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills.

· Good organisational skills with the ability to multi-task

· A confident user of IT programmes including Microsoft Office

· A professional individual with a keen eye for attention to detail with a can-do attitude to work
