Job Title: QUALITY PUB MANAGER

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Quality Wet Pub Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our community-focused pubs, ensuring exceptional service, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. This role requires a passion for traditional pub experiences, including a deep appreciation for quality cask ale, sports, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Pub Operations Management:

· Efficiently run all aspects of pub operations, including staffing, ordering, cash management, and regulatory compliance.

· Ensure the smooth functioning of daily activities to provide a positive and enjoyable experience for customers.

Cellar Management:

· Demonstrate excellent cellar management skills, maintaining the highest standards for the storage and service of cask ales and other beverages.

· Regularly inspect and manage inventory to guarantee the availability of a diverse and high-quality selection of drinks.

Passionate Customer Engagement:

· Share a genuine passion for the interests of our customers, including but not limited to beer, football, sports, pool, darts and community.

· Foster a friendly and inclusive environment that encourages social interaction and community engagement.

Exceptional Cask Ale Management:

· Take pride in the meticulous care and presentation of cask ales, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and flavour.

· Stay informed about current trends in the world of cask ale and continuously seek ways to enhance the pub's beverage offerings.

Community Integration:

· Actively become a part of the local community by building relationships with residents, local businesses, and community groups.

· Organise and support community events within the pub to strengthen ties and enhance the pub's role as a community hub.

Pub Selection Process:

· Collaborate with the management team to undergo an induction process.

· Participate in the selection of the most suitable pub based on individual preferences and strengths.

· Adapt management styles to fit the unique character and needs of the chosen pub.

Accommodation Management (if applicable):

If the selected pub offers accommodation, manage and oversee the accommodation services to ensure a comfortable and welcoming experience for guests.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Proven experience in pub operations, with a focus on wet-led establishments.

· Strong leadership and organisational skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

· In-depth knowledge of cellar management and cask ale.

· A genuine passion for community engagement and customer satisfaction.

· Ability to adapt to different pub environments.
