An exciting opportunity has arisen at Teesside University's Research and Enterprise Office to support and coordinate the University’s delivery of engaged research activity, facilitating strategic initiatives for engaged research and creating enabling conditions and policies for high quality engaged research to take place.
The University has a number of research informed initiatives that will involve stakeholder engagement such as a just transition to a net zero economy, public health research, and the development of the high-street, and local economy through and levelling up initiatives.
The successful postholder will work with the Schools to identify and develop opportunities for high quality Public Engagement activity, effectively utilise Public Engagement activity as a vehicle for research impact, support the development and delivery of Public Engagement training for researchers, produce content for both traditional and social media about university research and impact, manage and monitor the Public Engagement funds for participatory research and policy support. The postholder will be part of the research and impact team and be provided with support and development opportunities.
