The Role
My client is looking for a Solicitor to join their high performing team of administrative and Public Law experts. The work primarily involves health, information law, judicial review, and various regulatory and disciplinary matters. While prior experience in the health sector is not a prerequisite, it would be advantageous if you could showcase expertise in the following areas:
- Advising on Public Law in the health sector, including advising both NHS and independent health organisations, and on health law generally.
- Demonstrated experience in working for the public sector, with a focus on the NHS, as well as other Non-Departmental Public Bodies (NDPBs), local and central Government, and regulatory authorities. This includes advising on statutory and administrative law obligations, vires, with experience of conducting or defending judicial reviews.
- Experience working on public inquiries (statutory or non-statutory)
- Understanding of information law, including Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Data Protection Act (DPA), and Environmental Information Regulations (EIR).
