Key activity will include:

•    Overseeing the delivery of PPIE across every level of the HRC including operational and strategic involvement activities
•    Working with academic leads and researchers in the HRC, develop innovative PPIE activities to widen opportunities for patient and public involvement in our research and promote diversity
•    Developing and maintaining relationships and collaborations with key external stakeholders including the public, patient groups and wider voluntary and community sectors
•    Building capacity and expertise in PPIE through development of training and learning resources, and provision of expert guidance and advice, including evaluation approaches and reporting
•    Working collaboratively with colleagues in the NIHR infrastructure and nationally with other HRCs to ensure that PPIE activity aligns with the UK Standards for Public Involvement in research and other PPIE best practice

Please note that if you are successful to this role, you will require medical clearance before you can commence in the role and a Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
