The Garden Museum (GM) is seeking a Public Programmes Coordinator to support the delivery of a dynamic public programme, which is best illustrated by our programme in recent months:
A Spring Plant Fair attended by 1,500 people; a panel discussion around urban brownfield sites to publicly launch the Camden Highline; Tree Talks: a radical choir-led evening to celebrate the social and cultural role of trees in partnership with the Architecture Foundation; the launch of Marchelle Farrell's Nan Shepherd prize-winning book 'Uprooting'; a panel of eleven academics, activists and architects presenting 'Ideas for a Greener London' chaired by Evan Davis; regular workshops around life drawing, botanical drawing, and natural dyeing sessions; sell out talks with designers including Dan Pearson, Sarah Price, Shane Connoly, Tom Massey.
The Public Programme Coordinator role provides a mixture of administrative support, as well as requiring the ability to develop creative ideas for events and activities, and confident technical knowledge.
