Job Description:
Aphrodite Fashion Limited is seeking a Public Relations Officer who is both visionary and pragmatic, capable of crafting and conveying our brand's narrative to a diverse audience. The role requires a balance of creativity and strategic thinking, with a focus on enhancing our company's visibility and reputation in the competitive fashion and consultancy sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic PR plans that align with the company’s goals and objectives, particularly in bridging UK and Chinese business markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media representatives, influencers, and key stakeholders in both the UK and Chinese markets.
- Craft compelling press releases, media statements, and articles that effectively communicate our brand's message and unique selling propositions.
- Manage media inquiries and interview requests, acting as the company spokesperson when necessary.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of PR campaigns and media coverage.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to ensure consistency in promotional strategies and branding efforts.
- Organize and manage events such as product launches, press conferences, and trade shows.
- Provide consultancy services to Chinese companies, leveraging Public Relations expertise to facilitate their market expansion in the UK.
- Navigate cultural nuances and business practices to create tailored communication strategies for diverse audiences.
- Manage the PR aspect of a potential crisis situation and implement strategies to mitigate negative impacts.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in Public Relations, media relations, or a similar role, preferably within the fashion or consultancy sectors.
- Excellent command of English and Chinese languages, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with our target markets.
- Strong understanding of the UK and Chinese media landscapes and business protocols.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Adept in the use of social media and digital marketing tools for PR purposes.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
