Reed Further Education are working with a college in Derbyshire who are looking for a Public Services Lecturer to join them on a temporary basis ASAP.
The role is to teach on their Further Education and Higher Education Courses and a total of 17 hours per week contact time.
Hours: 17 Hours Per Week across Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Salary: £25 Per Hour Including Holiday Pay
Location: Derbyshire
Your duties will include:
- Planning and delivering all aspects of learning, teaching and assessment. Supporting learners to reach their targets.
- Managing learners to succeed and achieve their potential.
- Promoting an innovative and collaborative approach to work for the planning and delivery of lessons and assessments.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
- Level 5 teaching qualification e.g., Cert Ed, PGCE.
- Knowledge of the GCSE, BTEC and/or A level curriculum.
- To be able to plan and deliver quality teaching sessions across identified modules.
- Relevant up to date subject knowledge, recent experience working within Further Education or school sector.
- Level 3 or above qualification in Public Services or subject related area.
- Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths.
- DBS on the update service.
