Main Duties
· Collate and collect print cuttings and online coverage for talent on the roster, distribute to the internal/external teams in a timely manner and save on system/publicity reports
· Send out regular publicity reports to all clients and Directors every week working with the Publicity team to do so
· Assist the Directors and Publicists
· Schedule meetings
· Maintain and update all databases
· Manage and regularly update all Cherry social channels
· Build a social schedule for Cherry socials
· Stay updated on all client social activity
· Manage company subscriptions – newspaper sites, online databases
· Help organise promo days, greet external visitors, connect phoners and run errands when needed
· When in the office, keep it organised – magazines filed regularly, throw away old papers/mags, make sure the reference magazines are up to date
· Managing stock and organisation of storage cupboards
· Order bikes and cars, help with mail outs where necessary
· Keep folders up to date with most recent press releases and artwork/press shots
· Research new contacts and relay to team
· Use initiative to maximize contacts and extend the department’s network of contacts
Skills and Experience Required
· A keen interest in music, fashion, photography and brands
· A strong understanding of the current music landscape, especially music journalism
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
· Hardworking, easy-going, proactive and reliable
· Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload
· An ability to use initiative and follow up tasks
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels, internally and externally
