Our client is seeking a versatile individual to join our team as an Application Specialist and Shop Store Assistant. This is one role that will be a mix of supporting customers with pumping solutions and helping on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Specialist Duties:

• Provide specialized support for our pumping applications, ensuring seamless operation and troubleshooting any technical issues.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and customize pumping solutions accordingly.
• Conduct training sessions for both internal teams and external customers on the optimal use of our pumping technologies.
• Work closely with our engineering team to relay customer feedback and contribute to the continuous improvement of our pumping systems.
• Collaborate with sales teams to communicate technical aspects of pump systems to clients
• Work closely with clients to customize pump solutions based on their unique needs. This may involve adapting existing pump designs or developing entirely new solutions to address specific challenges.

Shop Store Assistant Duties:

• Assist customers in our retail store with inquiries related to our pumping equipment and accessories.
• Process sales transactions using our point-of-sale system with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain a well-organized store environment, including proper merchandising and inventory management of pumping products.
• Provide outstanding customer service, addressing questions, concerns, and product inquiries.

Pump Application Engineers play a critical role in ensuring that pump systems are tailored to meet the specific needs of diverse industries, including water treatment, oil and gas, manufacturing, and more. They bridge the gap between engineering expertise and practical applications to deliver efficient and reliable pump solutions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Application Specialist, preferably in the pumping industry.
• Familiarity with pumping systems, equipment, and related applications.
• Strong technical acumen and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Retail experience is advantageous for the Shop Store Assistant role
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
