We are currently recruiting for a Pump Service Engineer as part of the OCS team providing services to The Royal Parks
As the Pump Service Engineer, you will work on a range of pumps and associated equipment. This includes fountain pumps, booster pumps, sewage pumps, rainwater harvesting pumps and agricultural dirty and clean water systems.
Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience in a similar role and is based in The Royal Parks
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Service/maintenance and installation in many sectors of the industry, domestic and commercial, such as pressure boosting and underground pump stations.
- Carry out commissioning of new installations.
- Booster sets, pressurisation units, sewage and storm water stations.
- Pump overhaul and repairs to all major manufacturers’ units.
- Carrying out service work on sewage stations, storm water, booster sets, pressurisation units, pump
- Overhauling, Installation and Commissioning of all the above.
- Workshop based repair and overhaul of pumps and pumping equipment.
- Customer liaison and dealing with client queries.
- Installation and commissioning of booster set, pressurisation and submersible pump package stations.
About You:
- Applicant must have the right to work in the UK
- Skilled knowledge of pump and associated pumping equipment.
- Have a good mechanical and electrical competence.
- 17th or 18th Edition Qualified desirable
- Full UK Driving License.
- Pro-active approach to work.
- Willingness to undertake additional training when necessary.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team or an individual.
- Competent in using MS Office applications
- Knowledge of CAFM systems
- A vehicle will be provided for use around the parks mainly In central London.
- There may be the opportunity for Overtime and a call-out rota system is in place.
